What is the meaning of ignorance is bliss?
The phrase “ignorance is bliss” means that it is often better not to know the full truth about something, as it can bring worry or sadness. It suggests that sometimes, ignorance can be a source of happiness, because if we don’t know about certain problems or negative aspects of the world, we won’t be bothered by them.
